Attorney Barry G. Doyle

30+ Years Fighting for Nursing Home Abuse Victims

Attorney Barry G. Doyle

Dedicated to Nursing Home Justice

Barry G. Doyle brings three decades of plaintiff’s personal injury experience to every nursing home abuse and neglect case. More than half of his current practice is devoted exclusively to nursing home abuse and neglect cases, making him one of Illinois’ most focused advocates for families harmed in nursing facilities.

When Barry opened his own law firm in 2004, he made a commitment to never represent insurance companies—only injured people and their families. That commitment remains unwavering today.

Background & Education

Barry Doyle grew up in Evanston, Illinois. He graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1987, then attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1991.

He returned to the Chicago area to attend law school at Loyola University of Chicago. During law school, Barry clerked at some of the most prestigious plaintiff’s personal injury law firms in the Chicago area. He also completed volunteer externships with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office and with former Magistrate Judge Edward A. Bobrick of the federal court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Professional Experience

Barry has spent his entire career representing injured people and their families in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He is drawn to complex litigation and trial work, and has devoted his practice to those suffering serious injuries.

Barry has tried over 50 cases to verdict in jury trials, bench trials, and binding arbitration hearings. He has successfully negotiated settlements in hundreds of additional cases, protecting his clients’ rights at every stage.

Because of his deep expertise in nursing home abuse and neglect litigation, Barry has built a practice that is increasingly focused on these cases.
